There is a quiet undercurrent in human services work — a tension between our best intentions and the impact that actually unfolds. It's the weight we carry. The moments when something doesn't quite land, but we haven't had the language to describe why.
Until now.
Professional Dangerousness (PD) is rarely loud or intentional. More often, it lives quietly in the space between good intentions and real-world impact — showing up in avoidance, over-identification, desensitization, or the slow normalization of practices that no longer align with our values. Many practitioners sense its presence long before they have language for it.
This full-day training offers both a grounded introduction to PD and a hands-on, action-oriented path forward — guiding participants from awareness to meaningful change.
